I’m Paul Farrow, a Senior Software Engineer with over 30 years of experience building enterprise applications across industries including utilities, e-commerce, emergency response, and government.
My core expertise is in .NET development, particularly C#, along with cross-platform mobile development using Xamarin and .NET MAUI. I’ve also spent a significant part of my career working with geospatial technologies, especially ESRI tools.
From 2020 to 2025, I worked at SSP Innovations on the MIMS application. During that time, I helped modernize the platform by contributing to its migration from Xamarin Forms to .NET MAUI, integrating Utility Network tracing, and improving mobile support for utility customers such as SMECO, PSEG, and Dominion Energy. My focus was on supporting evolving industry needs while keeping the platform stable and reliable.
Before that, I worked with Epoch Solutions Group, where I enhanced their field mobility application with WebAPI integrations and ESRI offline capabilities. I also provided onsite consulting for clients including Ameren and Eversource.
Over the years, I’ve delivered solutions across a wide range of platforms—Windows, macOS, mobile, and cloud. Earlier in my career, I worked on projects for companies like BP, Chrysler Jeep, Tesco.com, and within the UK public sector, building and maintaining high-availability systems using ASP.NET, SQL Server, Oracle, and C#.
